By visiting the Vnr extranet service companies can see the up-to-date situation of their Nordic Article Numbers in the Nordic Countries. In addition, Vnr-orders can be made electronically and fast by utilising the Vnr extranet service. User ID and password required to use the system can be ordered from Pharmaceutical Information Centre Ltd.
Price notifications for the Finnish ePrescription pharmaceuticals database
Vnr extranet service is also used to make price notifications of pharmaceuticals (preparations with a Vnr-number) for the Finnish ePrescription pharmaceuticals database. All price notifications of pharmaceuticals to the ePrescription pharmaceuticals database have to be communicated directly to Pharmaceutical Information Centre, which, under commission from Kela, serves as the technical administrator of the database in respect of pharmaceuticals. The price information must be communicated no later than 8 working days before the 1st and 15th of each month. The Finnish Vnr-register administered by Pharmaceutical Information Centre serves as the basis for ePrescription pharmaceuticals database.
One-stop shop for all important notifications
In the Vnr extranet service companies can make all important notifications concerning pharmaceuticals on the Finnish market electronically and easily by only of one notification. With a separate contract company can authorize Pharmaceutical Information Centre to forward notifications for co-operation parties. The use of the notifications in the Vnr extranet service is free of charge.
