We revamped our website – welcome to visit us!
Our online services have experienced a complete transformation, both internally and externally, in spring 2011. We published the new site for users in the eve of the summer holidays.
A customer-oriented site reflecting our new company identity
We updated the site layout to reflect our new visual identity that was implemented in autumn 2010. In the reform we utilised new fresh colour palette and Gotham-font family, whose history and nature reflect well our role as the road sign of reliable pharmaceutical information.
In the concept design we took into account our various customer groups from citizens to health care professionals. In addition to using the traditional menu bar, it is now possible for our customers to navigate using the site map and keyword cloud, or even a smart search feature.
Electronic access to our services is now much easier and more customer-friendly. Our customers can make all orders in one place and sign up to training events with ease.
In the background a powerful content management system
For the backend of the site we chose a commercial open source content management system eZ Publish, which allows us to produce a large communicational website. eZ Publish is search engine-friendly and allows use of variety of languages. Scalability, multi-lingual functions and supplier independence were the most important selection criteria for us, and they provide good support for our strategy.
Our long-term partner, NXC Finland (formerly Naviatech Finland) carried out technical and creative work. NXC is one of Europe's leading consulting companies, dedicated to solid and professional solutions based on Enterprise Open Source technology.
Ability to expand both content and language versions
At the time of publication, we offer content in Finnish and partly in English. The amount of English-language content will continue to grow as our operations internationalise. As a first step, we have focused on the needs of our current domestic and foreign customers.
We work together with our partners every day to ensure medication safety in Finland, and also strengthen patient safety internationally by providing Nordic Article Number (Vnr) service.
